Do you feel like you’re running on a treadmill in life but haven’t even had a chance to exercise in the past month?
Do the words “not now”, “in a minute”, “hurry up” or “I’m too tired” ever leave your lips in a breathe of exhaustion or frustration?
Do you have knots in your stomach because you don’t feel you are performing well or can’t complete what you want on time nor get a sense of completion?
Chances are, you have been in a pattern of anxiousness for some time. This is not something to hide from or feel inadequate about nor fight. There is a lot you can do to support yourself and heal a condition of anxiousness and overwhelm.
According to Youth Beyond Blue 1 in 6 young people suffer from anxiety, and the Australian Bureau of Statistics report that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men identify with experiencing anxiety. And these figures are just representing those that are recognizing the anxiety and being honest about what they are experiencing. The reality is far more are likely to be experiencing anxiety without really knowing what it is or that the symptoms are not part of normal life.
